He was previously vice president of operations and sales and chief strategy and market officer in the New Albany, Miss., office of St. Louis-based Piper Metal Forming Corp. Mary Hart was named preconstruction manager, Thomas Underhill was named project director and Marcus Woods was named engineer. Previously, Hart was construction manager of the St. Louis-based Pyramid Cos., Underhill was vice president of operations of Rancho Dominguez, Calif.-based Murray Co. and Woods was a student. Paric provides contracting services.

Kevin Token was named regional director of Indianapolis-based BSA LifeStructures. He was previously senior principal and executive vice president with Indianapolis-based Odle McGuire & Shook Corp. BSA is an architecture/engineering firm.

HOK of St. Louis has announced the additions of Tracy Moore as human resources manager and Seth Teel as sustainable design analyst. Previously Moore was vice president of human resources for Maritz Loyalty Marketing in St. Louis, and Teel was development analyst for Sage Homebuilders LLC in St. Louis. HOK is a design firm.

Jason Recob was named project manager of Neenah, Wis.-based Miron Construction Co. He was previously senior project manager with Minneapolis-based Kraus Anderson Construction Co. Miron is a contractor.

Judd Presley was named manager of business development in St. Louis of Kansas City, Mo.-based Walton Construction. He was previously development consultant with Behren Design & Development in St. Louis. Walton provides general contracting and other services.

Affiliated Engineers Inc. of Madison, Wis., has announced the additions of Thomas Anthony as named healthcare information technology market leader and John Hardy as process engineering market leader. Anthony was previously chief information officer of the University of Minnesota Physicians, and Hardy was previously director for engineering development of San Francisco-based U.S. Biodiesel Group LLC. AEI is a consulting-engineering firm.

Darin Lanich was named senior project manager, architecture, of Indianapolis-based Cripe Architects + Engineers. He was previously an architect with Carson Design Associates in Carmel.

Lex Pegues was named senior architect of Hinsdale-based DLA Architects. He was previously vice president of architecture with Centennial, Colo.-based KDC Architects Engineers.

Brett Gaither was named business development manager of St. Louis-based Byrnes & Jones Construction Co. He was previously executive vice president of NPS Inc. in Clayton, Mo. Byrnes & Jones is a paving company.

Kwame Building Group of has announced the additions of Christopher Hosie as senior project engineer and William Warner as project coordinator. Previously, Hosie had founded Allen Engineered Inspections in Olivette, Mo., and Warner was a self-employed broker in Fort Worth, Texas. Kwame is a program- and construction-management firm.

Kevin Spitz was named civil engineer in the Chicago office of Springfield, Ill.-based Hanson Professional Services Inc. He was previously a student. Hanson provides engineering and architectural services.

Michael Brophy was named project engineer of Woodridge-based Morgan/Harbour Construction. He was previously senior project manager of Connemara Homes LLC. Morgan/Harbour is a design-build contractor.

Jerry Harris was named assistant project estimator of St. Louis-based Schaeffer Electric Co. Inc. He was previously a student. Schaeffer is an electrical contractor.

PROMOTIONS

HOK of St. Louis has announced the promotion of Bob Schwartz to group vice president from vice president. Julie Hick was advanced to associate from graphic designer; Leah Hofferkamp to associate from senior architectural technician; Ryan Kopp to associate from architect; Chris Naumann to associate from CAD designer; and Meagan Sinn to associate from senior project accountant. Rob Koss was elected vice president of Muscatine, Iowa-based Stanley Consultants Inc. He is associate chief transportation engineer in the firm’s Chicago office. Stanley provides engineering, environment and construction services.

Christopher Price was named executive director of the Indianapolis-based Indiana Construction Roundtable Inc. He was previously Great Lakes regional manager in Indianapolis of Atlanta-based Tensar International. ICR is a nonprofit association of construction buyers.

Dave Bradley was named project manager of St. Louis-based Schaeffer Electric Co. Inc. He was previously project foreman. Schaeffer is an electrical contractor.

HONORS & APPOINTMENTS

Marion Hayes has been named as one of the most influential minority business leaders in St. Louis by St. Louis Business Journal. He founded and is president of Overland, Mo.-based BRK Electrical Contractors LLC and is a founding board member of the PRIDE Regional Union Construction Center, an incubator of minority construction businesses.

Gary Betts posthumously received Distinguished Membership from the Alexandria, Va.-based Construction Specification Institute. Betts, who was from Chicago, had served in multiple capacities with the organization, including president, chapter officer and committee chair
