Booth Hansen of Chicago has announced the promotion of six employees to principal: Adam Berkelhamer, John Birazzi, Daniel MacIsaac, David Mann, Richard Nelson and Harry Soenksen. Each was previously a vice president. Booth Hansen is an architecture firm.

Plunkett Raysich Architects LLP of Milwaukee announced Michael Sobczak and Abie Khatchadourian were named partners. Sobczak was previously vice president of design and associate, and Khatchadourian was previously vice president and associate. Jeffery Peter was promoted to manager of information systems. He was previously network administrator of McCormick + Etten/Architects in Lake Geneva. Plunkett Raysich is a design firm.

Loebel Schlossman & Hackl of Chicago has announced the additions of Richard Smith as principal, Kathryn Perino Meigel as designer and Richard Johnson as architectural designer. Smith was previously principal and market sector leader with Chicago-based Perkins + Will, Perino Meigel was previously interior designer with Chicago-based Frye Gillan Molinaro and Johnson was previously an employee with Chicago-based Johnson & Lee Architects. Loebel Schlossman is a design firm.

STR Partners LLC of Chicago announced Michael Henderson and J. Colby Lewis IV were each promoted to executive vice president. Each was previously vice president. STR is an architecture firm.

Mattias Graff was named vice president of development of Chicago-based Renzi Construction & Development. He was previously senior development manager with Chicago-based New West Realty. Renzi provides general-contracting services.

SmithGroup of Detroit has announced the additions in Chicago of Daniel Mitchell as principal and Judy DeMike as senior interior designer. Mitchell was previously project director/senior vice president of Chicago-based VOA Associates, and DeMike was previously interior designer of Chicago-based OWP/P. SmithGroup is an architecture and engineering firm.

M.A. Mortenson Co. of Minneapolis has announced the promotions in Milwaukee of Erin Writt to project manager and Stephanie Carr to marketing manager. Writt was previously assistant project manager, and Carr was previously senior marketing coordinator. Brittany Merten was named field engineer. She was previously a student. Tony Coraggio was named project engineer in the Field Operations Team of Gilbane Building Co. in Milwaukee. He was previously project engineer with Milwaukee-based CG Schmidt Inc. Gilbane is a general contractor.

Chris Linn was named vice president of marketing and business development for Kaukauna, Wis.-based Bassett Mechanical. He was previously chief marketing officer of Bloomington, Ill.-based STL Technology Partners. Bassett is a mechanical contractor.

Scott Fulton was named chief financial officer of Milwaukee-based The Bentley Co. He was previously regional controller for GPD-Gilbane in Milwaukee. Bentley provides general-contracting services.

Cummins Inc. of Columbus, Ind., has announced Tom Kieffer was promoted to executive director of customer support from director of marketing communications. Carol Lavengood assumes this position. She was previously director of marketing operations. Cummins manufactures engines for construction equipment and other uses.

Sue Hauschel was named business manager of Cedarburg, Wis.-based Groth Design Group Inc. She was previously firm administrator of Winter, Kloman, Moter & Repp S.C. in Elm Grove, Wis. Groth is an architecture firm.

Charles Merydith was named managing director of the Chicago-based Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute. He was previously vice president of Hill and Knowlton Public Relations Inc in Chicago.

John Chitty was named senior project manager of the Wetland & Ecological Group in the Natural Resources Division of Woodridge-based V3 Cos. He was previously department head of terrestrial biology with Montgomery Watson Harza. V3 is an environmental consulting firm.

Fabcon of Savage, Minn., has announced William Coleman and Brent Banninga were named project managers of the company's Carmel, Ind., facility. Coleman was previously project manager for Indianapolis-based Shiel Sexton, and Banninga was previously manager of Indianapolis-based R.T. Moore. Fabcon produces and installs precast concrete panels.

Weis Builders Inc. of Minneapolis has announced John DeLuca was named senior project manager, Rick Ulbrich was named senior estimator and Matt Pederson was named senior peoject engineer, each in the Rolling Meadows office. DeLuca was previously operations director of Auburn, Ala.-based Charter Construction Co., Ulbrich was previously estimator of Harvey-based Graycor Construction Co. and Pederson was previously project manager of Charter Construction. Weis is a general contractor.

Hanson Professional Services Inc. of Springfield, Ill., has announced that Nashville, Tenn.-based W.R. Coles and Associates has become a Hanson division. Coles specializes in providing planning and engineering services for ports and economic development projects.

Stand Associates Inc.
of Madison has expanded its Joliet office from 12,600 sq. ft. to 22, 200 sq. ft. Strand provides civil and environmental engineering.
